FAQ

FAQ

Still got questions? Feel free to reach out. We're happy to help.

Am I eligible to enter?

If you are currently a student in a UK art school or have graduated from one during the last five years (2021-2026), then yes. The application is also free and open to any age.

What mediums can I submit?

Anything other than video works or large-scale installations. General rule of thumb is that if it can be hung from a wall or placed on a plinth you're good to go.

What about if I don't live in London?

Unfortunately the prize is only open to artists based in Hong Kong.

What if I'm a self-taught artist?

We encourage you to apply anyway as we'll still look at your submissions and consider it, if it's good enough.

What happens when I get shortlisted?

The shortlisted artists will have their artworks exhibited for six months in the beautiful lobby of The Hari Hotel. So do make sure whatever work you submit is available for exhibition.

What if my work sells?

Contrary to our usual commission model, we won't take a penny out of it and you'll get all the proceeds.
